Cavs Close Season at Home on Friday and Saturday

Walsh (2-22, 2-14) looks to close the season on a high note when they host Ohio Dominican University on Friday at 7pm, and Tiffin University on Saturday at 3pm in a pair of Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference matches at Alumni Arena.

Walsh looks to snap a three-game losing streak, after falling to Malone, Findlay and Hillsdale last week. This will be the second meeting for the Cavs with ODU and Tiffin.  The Cavs lost 3-1 at Tiffin on September 12, and 3-0 to Ohio Dominican on September 13.

Ohio Domincian is tied for second place in the GLIAC at 9-7. They are 11-14 overall.  The Panthers split matches last weekend. They blanked Lake Erie 3-0 on Friday, but fell 3-1 to Ashland on Saturday.

Tiffin is 6-10 in the GLIAC and 12-13 overall. The Dragons won two out of three matches last week. They downed Ohio Dominican (3-1) and Lake Erie (3-0), but were defeated by Ashland (3-0).

Kaitlin Bronikowski is fourth in the GLIAC in digs and is averaging 4.93 per set and Haley Howell is eighth in assists per set at 8.66.

Gina Kramer leads the Cavs with 2.71 kills per set and Kelsey Snider leads the team in kills wtih 218.
