Cavs Home to Ashland and Lake Erie

Walsh (1-18, 1-10) returns to Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference action this Friday and Saturday when they play host to Ashland University and Lake Erie College. The Cavs and Ashland tangle at 7pm on Friday, followed by the Cavs/Lake Erie match Saturday at 2 pm. Walsh is looking to snap a four-match skid. They lost all three matches at the GLVC/GLIAC Crossover Tournament last weekend in Illinois.

Ashland (5-13, 5-6) comes in on a three game tailspin, and also lost all three matches at the GLVC/GLIAC Crossover. The Eagles have lost six of their last seven matches. They are led by Ali Cudworth, who is 7th in the GLIAC in kills per set (3.03). Maureen Johnson is third in blocks (1.16). Walsh leads the all-time series 12-9-1.

Lake Erie (2-18, 0-11) has lost their last 15 matches. They play at Malone on Friday night.  Asya Hobbs leads the Storm with 2.23 kills per set. Walsh leads the all-time series 4-0.

Walsh's Kaitlin Bronikowski is fourth in the GLIAC in digs per set at 4.94. Gina Kramer is 12th kills at 2.76.  Kelsey Snider is averaging 2.47 kills and Haley Howell is handing out 8.54 assists.
