(NORTH CANTON, Ohio) Walsh (0-11) looks for their first win of the season when they host Alderson Broaddus University (4-10) in a non-conference contest at 7 p.m. at Alumni Arena. The Cavs played well, but fell twice over the weekend to GLIAC foes Saginaw Valley State and Wayne State University.
Alderson Broaddus has won three of their last five matches and defeated Central State University 3-0 on Saturday. They are led by Megan Christmann who is averaging 2.76 kills, and Caitlin Cain who is averaging 2.60 kills. Kayla Peterson is handing out 6.42 assists. Walsh leads the all-time series 7-0. Alderson Broaddus is a member of the Great Midwest Athletic Conference.
Freshman Gina Kramer continues to play well and is averaging 2.75 kills. She had ten kills in the Saginaw Valley match on Friday night. Kelsey Snider had ten kills against Saginaw and six in the Wayne State match. She is averaging 2.43 kills.
Walsh returns to GLIAC action this weekend at home, when they meet Michigan Tech on Friday night (7 p.m.) and Northern Michigan on Saturday afternoon (4 p.m.).
