    For the third time this season, Walsh scored 20 goals as it defeated West Virginia Wesleyan in a route by the score of 20-10. The Cavaliers (5-2) led the Bobcats (1-5) by just a single goal at halftime, but exploded for 13 goals in the second half while limiting the visitors to four.

    Spring break proved to be record breaking for the Walsh women’s lacrosse team as it defeated Randolph 16-0 this afternoon. Not only did the Cavaliers (3-1) start off the break with a record 21 goals against Ohio Valley, but the shutout of the Wildcats (0-3) was the first in program history.

    Saturday afternoon was one to remember for Walsh women’s lacrosse as it set a school record for goals scored in a 21-5 defeat of visiting Ohio Valley. The Cavaliers’ (1-1) previous single-game high was 20 goals in a 20-10 win over Ursuline at home on April 4, 2014.

    The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) women’s lacrosse coaches have released the preseason poll and Walsh is selected to finish seventh this season. The Cavaliers received 12 votes in the tabulations.
