  • Nobile Named To All-GLIAC Team

    The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) announced its 2015 All-GLIAC Women's Lacrosse teams between the semifinal matches of the GLIAC Tournament on Friday evening (May 1). Maria Nobile (So., Westerville, OH/Olentangy Orange) has earned All-GLIAC accolades for the Cavaliers as an Honorable Mention.
  • Women's LAX Falls To Tiffin In Season Finale

    Little went right for Walsh as it fell to Tiffin in the season finale by a count of 24-3 at Frost Kalnow Field Friday evening. The Cavaliers end the campaign at 5-11 overall and 1-6 in the conference. The Dragons improve to 10-7 overall and will advance to the GLIAC playoffs by virtue of their 5-1 conference record.
  • Ursuline Takes Down Cavs 12-7
    April 19, 2015
    A second half comeback attempt fell short as Walsh was defeated by Ursuline 12-7 in GLIAC action Sunday afternoon. The Cavaliers (5-10, 1-5) went down 4-0 to start the game, but cut the Arrows’ (4-10, 2-4) deficit to one early in the second half, but was unable to score again the rest of the way.
  • Lake Erie Storms By Walsh

    A fast start by Lake Erie doomed Walsh as it fell 20-7 to its northern rivals at Jack Britt Memorial Stadium in GLIAC action Friday evening. The Storm (6-6, 3-2) raced out to a 7-0 lead en route to even its record before the Cavaliers (5-9, 1-3) were able to score.
  • Cavs Make Thrilling Comeback To Down Urbana
    April 15, 2015
    Walsh had its biggest comeback in program history as it came back to defeat Urbana by a score of 11-10 in a thrilling game at UU Stadium. The Cavaliers improve to 5-8 on the season while the Blue Knights dropped to 1-11.
  • Walsh Edges AB on Senior Day

    In one of the closest games of the season, Walsh edged Alderson Broaddus 11-9 on Senior Day on Sunday afternoon. The Cavaliers (4-8, 1-3) also picked up their first GLIAC win of the season with the win against the Battlers (1-10, 0-4).
  • Findlay Too Much For Walsh

    Despite a strong start to the game, Walsh couldn’t keep up with Findlay who went on to win Friday evening’s contest by a score of 20-6 at Donnell Stadium.
  • Grand Valley Sinks Cavs

  • Cavs Fall To McKendree In Conference Opener

    Walsh dropped a mutual conference opener to visiting McKendree by a score of 23-6 at Vasco Field Thursday evening. The Cavaliers are 3-6 overall while the Bearcats, newly associate members of the GLIAC, improve to 8-1 overall.

    A late rally wasn’t enough for Walsh as it dropped to Lourdes by a count of 14-13 at Vasco Field Sunday afternoon. The Cavaliers (3-5) trailed by as many as six goals before they came back to tie the Grey Wolves (3-7) late in the game

    Snowy weather didn’t cool the spirits of Walsh’s women’s lacrosse team as it defeated Calvin by a score of 12-7 at Vasco Field Friday evening. The Cavaliers improved to 3-4 with the win while the Knights dropped to 2-5.
  • Cavs Stung By Baldwin Wallace 11-5

    Baldwin Wallace pulled away late in the first half and went on to defeat Walsh by a count of 11-5 at George Finnie Field on Tuesday evening.

    Walsh dropped a non-conference contest by a 11-8 decision at West Virginia Wesleyan College Saturday afternoon. The Cavaliers are now 2-3 on the year while the Lady Bobcats improved to 7-2.

    Walsh picked up its second consecutive win with a 17-6 decision over visiting Hiram at Vasco Field on Wednesday afternoon. The Cavaliers are now 2-2 on the season while the Terriers drop to 1-3 on the campaign.

    In its makeshift home opener, Walsh took advantage to defeat Notre Dame (Ohio) 16-10 in non-conference action at Vasco Field.

  • Walsh Drops Season Opener To Muhlenberg

    Walsh lost its season opener to Muhlenberg by a score of 19-4 on a rainy Sunday morning. It was a neutral site game for both the Cavs and the Mules (1-0) who are in the Palmetto State for spring break. The Cavs will play Eastern at the same location tomorrow.
  • Women's LAX Serves Blessings in a Backpack

    The Walsh University women's lacrosse team gave its evening last night to serve Blessings in a Backpack, a local organization that packs food items for the weekend for children whom otherwise may not have eaten. The Cavaliers packed 360 bags and also donated enough money to sponsor a child for a year.
