(NORTH CANTON, Ohio) – Walsh heads up I-77 and Rt. 8 to take on Lake Erie for the second meeting between the two schools tomorrow at 1 p.m. The Cavaliers (10-11, 6-8) will look to avenge an earlier season loss against the Storm (7-13, 5-9).
The Cavaliers enter the weekend in third place in the division by a half-game ahead of Hillsdale who is 6-9 in the conference. The Storm still has an outside chance at qualifying for the GLIAC tournament as well.
Walsh is coming off of an overtime loss at Findlay on Monday. It's the sixth overtime game the Cavs have played this season. Lake Erie is also coming off of a defeat to Tiffin and hasn't won a game since defeating Walsh three weeks ago.
Brooklyn Wooten leads the team with 12.7 points per game while Brittni Clopton leads the team with 6.0 rebounds per game. Kayla Gabor is the go-to player for the Storm with 19.5 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 3.1 assists per game.
