(KENOSHA, Wis.) - The 2013 season came to a close for Walsh as it finished 15th of 29 teams in the NCAA Division II Midwest Regional Championship at the Wayne E. Dannehl Cross Country Course. The Cavaliers finished with a team score of 408. Fellow GLIAC member Grand Valley State won the competition with a team score of 53 to edge out Southern Indiana with 64 points.
Justin Groubert (Jr., Hartville, OH/Lake) was the top Cavalier as he finished 26th individually with a time of 32:19. Naimbai Njerakey (Fr., North Canton, OH/Wheaton, MD) was next for Walsh as he crossed the finish line with a time of 33:13 to finish 61st. Matt Roshak (Sr., North Canton, OH/Hoover) closed out his collegiate career with a time of 33:44. Jackson Zaremba (Jr., Canton, OH/GlenOak) and Justin Eddy (Jr., Canton, OH/Perry) rounded out the Cavs' top five with times of 34:16 and 34:50, respectively.
