Women Picked 2nd, Men Picked 3rd in G-MAC Preseason Poll

(INDIANAPOLIS) - The Walsh University women's indoor track and field team was picked as the runner-up in the G-MAC Preseason Coaches Poll with 154 total points. The Walsh men's indoor track and field team was slotted to finish third in the conference with 115 points and one first place vote. 

The women finished second in the G-MAC championships last season and the men finished fourth in last year's G-MAC championships. 

Junior Andra Lehotay returns to lead the Cavaliers as she finished second in the mile in last season's G-MAC championships. Senior Jetaiya Smith also returns as a key member of the women's team as she finished second in the 400 meter dash last year. 

On the men's side, senior Mark Hadley returns after he finished first in the 5,000 meter run and second in the 3,000 meter run in last year's G-MAC championships.
