(OWENSBORO, Ky.) – On the eve of its tournament, the G-MAC has announced its All-Conference team and a pair of Cavaliers have been named. Vasily Vidmanov has been named to the First Team, while Heitor Adegas was named to the Second Team.
Together, the duo helped Walsh to a 4-4 conference record and the No. 3 seed in the G-MAC Tournament where the Cavs will take on No. 2 seed Findlay.
Vidmanov has served as the Cavs' No. 1 player the entire season in both singles and doubles action. He has been nearly untouchable in singles play in the conference with a 7-1 record at the top spot. Together with Rodrigo Garcia and Filipp Kulynych, he evenly split doubles matches at 4-4.
Adegas was also one of the Cavaliers' top singles players at the bottom of the card. He split time between fourth and fifth singles. Within conference matches, he went 6-2. Overall on the season, he was Walsh's top singles player with a record of 13-7.
Vidmanov, Adegas, and the rest of the Cavaliers will take on the Oilers tomorrow at 4:30 p.m. on the campus of Kentucky Wesleyan.
