(INDIANAPOLIS) – Ross Whittaker lost his bid to play in the Men's A Singles Consolation Finals with a semifinals loss to Joey Fischer of Wayne State. Whittaker lost the first set 6-2 and the second set 7-5 in a strong effort to come back and tie the match.
Fischer ended up losing in the finals to McKendree's Maxamilian Ilic.
The Cavaliers will be back in team action as they host Edinboro in non-conference action this Tuesday at the Klekotka Tennis Complex. The match is scheduled for a 12 p.m. start.
