(CANTON, Ohio) – Walsh will host Findlay in the first Great Midwest Athletic Conference Game for both teams in program history. The Cavaliers enter the contest at 0-4 while the Oilers are 3-1 on the year.
The two teams have a relatively new rivalry that started in 2012 after Walsh joined the GLIAC. Findlay won the first three contests in the series before the Maroon and Gold defeated the Oilers in 2015 in overtime.
One of the key matchups in the game will be Walsh's pass defense and Findlay's air attack. The Oilers come in as one of the top passing teams in the league, but Walsh is second in the conference in pass defense with an average of only 202.0 yards given up per game. Only Kentucky Wesleyan has a better average at 146.7.
Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. with audio and video coverage provided by Stretch Internet.
