(NORTH CANTON, Ohio) – Walsh looks to build upon last week's thrilling homecoming win against Malone as it hosts Ohio Dominican this Saturday at noon. The Cavaliers enter the contest at 1-7 while the Panthers are 5-3 and second in the South Division.

Walsh and Ohio Dominican have played each other 10 times with the Panthers leading the all-time series 10-4. The series began in 2004 with the Cavaliers shutting out Ohio Dominican 41-0. Walsh went on to win the next two games before ODU defeated the Cavaliers for the first time in 2007. The series took a brief hiatus in 2010 but resumed in 2012 when the Cavaliers joined the GLIAC. Ohio Dominican has since won the last four meetings.

On the defensive side, Niccholas King continues to be one of the dominant players in the GLIAC. He now leads the GLIAC in tackles with 82. Last week against the Pioneers, he made nine. King also ranks first in the GLIAC for tackles per game at 10.3.

Running back Aaron Male had one of his finest games of his career in last week's win against arch rival Malone. He carried the ball 20 times for 153 yards and 7.7 yards per carry. His 65 yard touchdown helped give Walsh momentum in the game and was the longest offensive scoring play for Walsh this season. He also had three reception for 56 yards, including a 46 yard catch and run to set up another score.
