(NORTH CANTON, Ohio) – The Walsh University football team has announced two camps for this summer with one focusing on individuals and one being a 7-on-7 tournament. Both camps will take place on Saturday, June 25, for a full day of action.
The individual camp is designed to enhance the skills, techniques, and athletic attributes of athletes entering grades 9 through 12. This camp is a one-day camp that allows the campers to receive instruction from the Walsh football coaching staff in different drills and competition.
This camp is non-contact camp structured to enable campers to have fun in a competitive environment. The fastest camper for each timing drill from the skill position and OL/DL groups will receive a t-shirt. The campers will need to bring athletic shoes or cleats, athletic shorts, athletic shirts/t-shirts, and any other athletic or medical related gear such as braces or inhalers.
Camp registration will take place in the Cecchini Center lobby at Walsh University and cost $40 per camper if pre-registered by Friday, June 10. Walk-ups can register for $50. Please make checks payable to Walsh University.

11:40 – 12: Group Off/Def

12:25 – 12:30: Closing Remarks
In the afternoon, the 7-on-7 Camp will take place and is designed to give high school programs competitive opportunities to grow and develop as a cohesive unit. It also provides an opportunity to be evaluated by the Walsh University football staff. Winning team will receive prizes. Camp registration will also take place in the Cecchini Center lobby at Walsh University.
The tournament is in a double elimination format with a four-game guarantee. The cost it $150 per team if pre-registered by Friday, June 10. Please make checks payable to Walsh University.
