Cavs Look To Trick NMU, Treat Fans To Win On Halloween

(NORTH CANTON, Ohio) – Walsh prepares for its final home game of the regular season as it entertains Northern Michigan for Senior Night at Tom Benson Stadium on Halloween. The Cavaliers enter with a record of 2-6 both overall and in the conference while the Wildcats come in at 4-4 overall with a 3-4 GLIAC record.

The Cavs are recently coming off a 31-16 loss at home to Wayne State on Homecoming after they won two-straight against Findlay and Malone. They are off next week before wrapping up the season on the road at No. 3 Ferris State in Michigan.

The Wildcats are also coming off a loss to No. 8/10 Ashland by a score of 41-40. NMU came back from 21 points down to take the lead with a touchdown run from 16-yards out with 3:39 left in the game, but Ashland responded with a 10-yard touchdown pass with seven seconds left to win the game.

Series / Last Season: Walsh and Northern Michigan have met just once and that came last year in the upper peninsula at the Superior Dome in Marquette, Mich. The Cavaliers scored three touchdowns in the final 9:13 of action to score a crazy comeback in a 27-24 win. There were three lead changes in the final 5:43.
