Walsh No. 12 In This Week's National Rankings

(NEW ORLEANS) – In the last rankings before G-MAC championships, Walsh is ranked No. 12 in this week's national poll by the USTFCCCA. The Cavaliers were ranked No. 11 last week and have been ranked as high as No. 7 this season.

Walsh remains the top-ranked team in the G-MAC. Hillsdale is hot on the heels of the Cavaliers at No. 13 after also dropping one spot thanks to the 10-spot rise of Alaska Anchorage, this week's new No. 11 team. Ursuline is also ranked in the top 25 at No. 21, two spots lower than they were last week at No. 19.

The top three teams in the rankings stayed the same with Grand Valley State staying at No. 1, West Texas A&M following at No. 2, and Adams State at No. 3. Western State moved up one spot to No. 4, while the host of this year's indoor national championships Pittsburg State completes to top five.

The Cavaliers will head to Hillsdale this week for its first G-MAC Championship meet which will take place on Friday and Saturday.
