(TOLEDO, Ohio) - The Women's Bowling team placed 6th out of 14 teams at the Toledo Classic this past weekend. This is the best finish thus far for the Women's program since its gotten off the ground.
For the Cavaliers, the Women bowled 3082 in the individual portion and 2552 in the Baker games for a combined total of 5604. Their overall best score in the Baker game was 215 and an 815 in the individual rounds.
Emily Kiss led the Maroon and Gold with a solid 7th place finish individually. This is the best individual finish by a Cavalier this season. Kiss had a total pinfall of 741 over 4 games, an average 185.25. Her best game of the weekend was her her final round of 205.
Kayla Van Natten finished 17th for the Cavs with a total of 682. Van Natten averaged 170.5 over her 4 games bowled, with her best round being 193.
Abby Moore was third in line for the Cavs finishing 26th overall. Moore averaged 161 per game for a total of 644 over her 4 games. She had a total pinfall 171 in her last and best round bowled.
Elizabeth Henline placed 56th for the Maroon and Gold. She bowled a 398 over 3 games, scoring 179 in the third round of her match. She avereaged 132 per bowl for the Cavs.
Jessica Armstrong rounded out the Cavalier line up placing 60th overall. She had a total pinfall of 340 over 3 games and averaged 113.
The Women hit the lanes again at the Tier 1 Tournament December 26 through the 30th.
