Walsh, Hillsdale Square Off In Important Division Matchup

(NORTH CANTON, Ohio) – Walsh and Hillsdale meet for the second time this season in an important South Division contest as both squads fight for a GLIAC Tournament playoff berth. The Cavaliers enter with a record of 11-11 overall and 7-8 in the conference. The Chargers are 1.5 games behind at 12-11 overall and 6-10 in the GLIAC.

In the overall standings, Walsh currently sits in eighth place 1.5 games behind Northwood. Hillsdale holds onto the ninth spot a half-game ahead of Findlay.

The Chargers lead the all-time series with the Cavs by a 7-2 count, but the Maroon and Gold has reigned victorious in the last two meetings, including last month's 68-60 victory on the road in Michigan.

Brooklyn Wooten leads the team with 12.7 points and 3.5 assists per game. Her assists rank fifth in the GLIAC. Brittni Clopton leads the team in rebounds with 6.2 per contest and also is a threat to score as she tops the team with 15 games where she has scored in double-figures.

Hillsdale is paced by Allie Dewire with 13.4 points and 3.2 assists per game. Allie Dittmer leads the team with 8.3 rebounds per game.
