Cavs Look To Tame Tiffin On Saturday

(NORTH CANTON, Ohio) - Walsh looks to rebound as it takes on Tiffin on Wall of Fame Weekend. The Cavaliers enter with a record of 9-10 overall and 5-7 within the conference. The Dragons visit Alumni Arena with a 5-12 overall mark and are 3-9 in the GLIAC.

The Cavaliers are coming off of a defeat to No. 1 Ashland on Thursday while Tiffin recently took down Findlay at home. Walsh and Tiffin have played 50 times over the years with the Maroon and Gold reigning victorious in the last six games with sweeps in the last three seasons.

This is the fourth longest rivalry in program history. Only Malone, Ohio Dominican, and Rio Grande have squared off against the Cavaliers in cager action.

Brooklyn Wooten leads the Cavs in scoring with 12.7 points per game. Brittni Clopton leads the team in the rebounding department with 6.3 per game. On the opposite end, Bre Nauman paces the Dragons in both of those categories with 9.8 points and 5.7 rebounds per game.

Following the game, Ingrid (Brainard) Huges will be honored at halftime of the men's game and is a former player for the Cavs that still holds numerous records.
