Cavs Look To Upset No. 1 Ashland

(NORTH CANTON, Ohio) - Walsh prepares for its toughest opponent of the season to date as it welcomes No. 1 Ashland to Alumni Arena on Thursday evening. The Cavaliers come into the contest at 9-9 overall and 5-6 within the conference. The Eagles sport an unbeaten mark of 19-0 overall with 11 GLIAC wins.

Brooklyn Wooten leads the Cavaliers' offense with 12.8 points and 3.9 assists per game. Brittni Clopton is the top rebounder at 6.4 caroms per game. Dominique Foley has come on as of late as an offensive spark for Walsh as she has recorded career-highs in points in each of the last three games. Her most recent outing saw her score 22 points in Columbus against Ohio Dominican.
