Walsh Heads To Mountain State To Battle Fairmont State

(FAIRMONT, W.Va.) - Walsh heads to the Mountain State to take on Fairmont State in non-conference regional action from Joe Retton Arena this evening. The Cavaliers are searching for their first win on the young season at 0-2 while the Falcons enter at 2-0. It's the first meeting between the two programs.

Brooklyn Wooten leads the Cavaliers with an average of 30 points, eight rebounds, and four steals per game. As a result, she was named GLIAC South Division Player of the Week for the first week of the season.

Fairmont State is led by Amanda Ruffner who has scored 18.5 points per game in the Falcons' first two contests of the season. Makenzie White leads the team with 7.5 rebounds per game.
