Cabezon, Vidmanov, Whittaker Earn Repeat All-GLIAC Honors

(BIG RAPIDS, Mich.) – The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference has announced its postseason awards and a trio of Cavaliers have earned accolades on the All-GLIAC Team.

Vasiliy Vidmanov and Pablo Cabezon were both named to the All-GLIAC Second Team while Ross Whittaker was named an All-GLIAC Honorable Mention. All three duplicate the honors that they received last season. For Cabezon and Whittaker, it's the third consecutive year they've been named to their respective All-GLIAC Team.

Cabezon had the strongest year record-wise where he played near the top of the mid-card. He featured an impressive 18-6 record in doubles action where he most played at the No. 2 spot. In singles action, he spend the majority of the season at the No. 3 spot where he went 15-8.

Vidmanov and Whittaker played the entire season together at No. 1 doubles where the pair went 6-16 in a schedule filled with nationally and regionally ranked teams. Both bounced back and forth from the top two singles spots where Vidmanov went 11-11 while Whittaker went 6-14.
