Cavs Shut Out By Southern Indiana

(ROMEOVILLE, Ill.) – The Walsh men's tennis team couldn't make it two upsets in a row as it fell to Southern Indiana in the GLIAC/GLVC Crossover event Friday afternoon. The loss snapped a three-match win streak for the Cavaliers (7-6) who were playing without Ross Whittaker and Pablo Cabezon.

The Eagles (8-3) are ranked No. 45 in the nation and sixth in the most recent ITA Midwest Regional rankings.

Despite playing at the No. 1 singles spot, Vasiliy Vidmanov held his own, but eventually fell by identical scores of 6-4 in both sets in Walsh's closest match of the day.

The Cavaliers will conclude the GLIAC/GLVC Crossover at Lewis University tomorrow.
