Men's Tennis Falls To Edinboro

(ERIE, Pa.) – The Walsh men's tennis squad fell to Edinboro in non-conference action by a score of 7-2 at the Westwood Racquet Club on Saturday evening. The Cavaliers dropped to 2-3 on the year while the Fighting Scots remained unbeaten at 5-0.

The Cavs received one point in doubles competition at the No. 2 spot as Pablo Cabezon and Carlos Jaque defeated Daniel Fernandez and Mateus Santos 8-5. Cabezon also picked up the solo singles point at No. 2 singles against Mauricio Santos 7-6, 1-6, 6-2.

Walsh will return to the Keystone State this Wednesday as the Cavs take on Mercyhurst. First serve is set for 11 a.m.
