(NORTH CANTON, Ohio) - The season finale will take place Thursday evening as Walsh hosts Findlay for Senior Night at Alumni Arena. It will be the final game in the careers of Zac Carter, Trey Fletcher, and Ronnie Stokes Jr.
The Cavaliers enter the game with a 16-10 overall mark and are 9-10 within the GLIAC. The division champion Oilers are 21-5 overall and 15-4 within the conference. Walsh is looking to avenge a narrow two-point loss to Findlay on the road three weeks ago.
Fletcher and Carter have been two of the most prolific scorers in the history of Walsh basketball. Fletcher recently moved into fifth on the all-time scoring list and now has 1,732 points in his career. Carter is 12th all-time with 1,514 points. He needs just three to equal Todd Brown for 11th and 10 to tie J.R. Ogletree for 10th.
On top of that, both players rank 1-2 in the GLIAC and are in the top 25 in the nation in scoring. Carter holds onto the top spot and is fourth in the nation with 24.6 points per game. Fletcher is second in the conference and 21st in the nation with 22.1 points per game.
