(OWENSBORO, Ky.) – Both teams will be looking for their first conference win as Walsh and Kentucky Wesleyan meet on the gridiron on Saturday afternoon. It will be the first time the two teams have met since 2012, the Cavaliers' first game as a member of the NCAA. During that first game back in 2012, the Cavaliers defeated the Panthers 40-10.
The Cavaliers enter the contest at 0-5 overall while the Panthers are 1-3. Both teams lost the conference opener last week.
This is the last major road trip for the Cavs this season. After a season-opening home game, Walsh spent three consecutive games on the road in Michigan, Florida, and Connecticut. This time the Cavs head to the Bluegrass State before playing the rest of their games in Ohio.
The Cavaliers continue to be one of the most disciplined teams in the conference with an average of 45.8 penalty yards per game. Hillsdale leads the conference with 38.2 penalty yards per game.
